We’ve completed our session, now what?
Thank you so much for trusting me with your family, it was an absolute pleasure getting to work with you! Now it’s time to relax and wait for your images. This process takes me about 2-weeks to complete. I will go through all of your photos and cull them down to the best ones from your session. After I’m done torturing myself with all of your adorable faces, I will run soft edits on the final selections and you will then receive an online gallery. This is where you will pick out all of the images you wish to keep. Once you’ve picked your favorites, you will be sent your final invoice according to which collection you chose (based on # of images selected). Once paid, I will begin final edits on all the images you chose to keep. The time frame on this varies. It really depends on how many you picked and the time of the season. A rough estimate is about a week from payment, give or take. While you wait, I’d love to hear some feedback from you about your experience. You can do that HERE.
Frequently Asked Questions:
How quickly do you need my selections? You will get 2-weeks to pick your images. If your images haven’t been chosen in that timeline, your gallery link will expire and there’s a $40 charge to reactivate it.
Can I order prints from you? You can, but know that you will be getting digitals and can print on your own, but if there’s something you really want to get from me, just ask and I’d be happy to use one of my professional vendors to order you a quality product.
How should I store my images? We are in a digital age and nothing is guaranteed. I advice my clients to save their images in multiple areas so if one thing should break, you have them somewhere else. Examples would be on multiple computers, external hard drives, and/or usb/cd/dvd
How long do you keep my images should I decide to purchase more later? 1 year.
If I want 1 of my images rushed for a gift, is that possible? Yes, as long as you’ve paid for your collection, I will rush a few of your images for you should you need it.
How do I print my images? You will get a digital download of your images once edits are complete. You can put your images on a thumb drive and take them anywhere to print. An easier option is to upload your images straight from your computer to the photo website you wish to use: this could be Walgreens, Rite-Aid, Target, etc., but my professional advice would be to use www.Mpix.com. The paper quality is much better than you can get at any local big box store, and their shipping is pretty quick!
